Job Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet requirements to operate a State of Wisconsin Fleet vehicle
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Must be available through the project end date of March 31, 2027

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in event planning and coordination
  • Experience creating print and digital marketing materials
  • Skilled in using web content management systems like WordPress or Microsoft SharePoint
  • Knowledge of fundraising techniques such as event organization, campaign management, and donor solicitation
  • Experience working with cultural organizations such as museums, libraries, theaters, or symphonies preferred

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate special events related to Wisconsin America 250 Commission activities
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies for events and campaigns
  • Create print and digital marketing materials
  • Utilize web content management systems such as WordPress or Microsoft SharePoint
  • Engage in fundraising activities including organizing events, managing campaigns, and soliciting donations
  • Collaborate with the A250WI Commission, committees, and workgroups to ensure coordinated efforts
  • Promote awareness and support for the 250th anniversary commemorative programs
