Job Requirements

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required
  • Eligibility to operate a State of Wisconsin fleet vehicle
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience in marketing or event planning roles

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in event planning and coordination
  • Proficiency in creating print and digital marketing content
  • Familiarity with web content management systems such as WordPress or Microsoft SharePoint
  • Knowledge of fundraising techniques including campaign management and donor solicitation
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Experience working with cultural organizations such as museums, libraries, theaters, or symphonies is preferred

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate special events related to Wisconsin America 250 Commission activities
  • Create print and digital marketing materials
  • Utilize web content management systems such as WordPress or Microsoft SharePoint
  • Implement fundraising campaigns and organize donor relations activities
  • Collaborate with the A250WI Commission, its committees, and workgroups to facilitate events and campaigns
  • Manage event logistics and vendor relationships
  • Raise awareness and funding through strategic marketing efforts
