Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or graduation equivalent
  • three years of related experience
  • experience in coordinating events in higher education or comparable setting
  • must be at least 21 years of age due to alcohol service at some events
  • additional education may substitute for required experience
  • additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma or graduation equivalent

Job Duties

  • Create and maintain internal communications and tracking mechanisms for event information collection
  • coordinate virtual programs for prospective and admitted students including outreach populations
  • add virtual events in SLATE, create Zoom links, develop event guides and slide shows
  • collaborate with Visitor Center Lead on staff and student scheduling
  • establish Zoom best practices and provide training for staff and students
  • collaborate with teams across the office on programming for families, school counselors, and educators
  • coordinate logistics for Access Advisory Board events including participant travel
  • organize travel arrangements for prospective and admitted students and their families
  • serve as manager-on-call for select events or programs
  • provide cross-training support with the Visitor Center team for phone lines, front desk, and daily events
  • manage inbox for relevant programs
