Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or its equivalency
  • 2-4 years of related work experience
  • Experience in hospitality and food service industries
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of legal and risk issues surrounding food service, contract fulfillment and leases
  • Exceptional problem solving skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Highly organized and flexible
  • Able to work under pressure calmly
  • Budgeting and inventory experience
  • Ability to handle cash and checks
  • Ability to figure sums and provide expense reports

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or its equivalency (BA/BS degree preferred)
  • 2-4 years of related work experience
  • Experience in hospitality and food service industries
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn required business systems
  • Knowledge of legal and risk issues surrounding food service, contract fulfillment and leases
  • Exceptional problem solving skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills to interface with artists, management, tenants and other high profile persons
  • Highly organized and flexible, able to work under pressure calmly
  • Budgeting and inventory experience
  • Ability to handle cash and checks, figure sums and provide expense reports

Job Duties

  • Review touring artist hospitality riders and provide budget for items and services as listed
  • Assist manager in ensuring proper support staff to fulfill contractual arrangements and work with vendors
  • Oversee backstage service on show days including meal provision, dressing room setup, and runner duties
  • Assist Production Manager with needs such as copying, providing information to acts, and getting artists list to box office
  • Book or recommend local hotels for acts and their entourage, negotiate annual prices, secure partner agreements, and track room usage
  • Produce detailed budgeting information including pre-show budgets, receipts, day of show expenses, and inventory analysis
  • Build and cultivate vendor relationships and participate in event solicitation efforts
  • Manage assigned special events as direct contact and attend rental meetings
  • Prepare checklists, schedules, and correspondence related to events
  • Assist with ordering venue supplies, staff uniforms, and maintain hospitality files for easy access
