Job Requirements
- High school diploma or its equivalency
- 2-4 years of related work experience
- Experience in hospitality and food service industries
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of legal and risk issues surrounding food service and contracts
- Exceptional problem solving skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Highly organized and flexible
- Ability to work under pressure calmly
- Budgeting and inventory experience
- Ability to handle cash and checks and provide expense reports
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or its equivalency (BA/BS degree preferred)
- 2-4 years of related work experience
- Experience in hospitality and food service industries
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn required business systems
- Knowledge of legal and risk issues surrounding food service, contract fulfillment, and leases
- Exceptional problem solving skills
- Exceptional customer service skills to interface with artists, management, tenants and high profile persons
- Highly organized and flexible
- Able to work under pressure calmly
- Budgeting and inventory experience
- Ability to handle cash and checks, figure sums and provide expense reports
Job Duties
- Review touring artist hospitality riders and provide budget for items and services as listed
- Assist manager in ensuring proper support staff to fulfill contractual arrangements and work with vendors
- Oversee backstage service on show days including providing meals, dressing room setup, light wardrobe duties, and runner duties
- Assist Production Manager with copying, providing information to acts, and coordinating logistics such as artist lists for box office
- Book or recommend local hotels for artists and entourage while negotiating annual prices and managing partner agreements
- Produce detailed budgeting information including pre-show budgets, receipts, day of show expenses, and inventory management
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors such as caterers, hotels, and equipment providers to negotiate best prices
- Maintain a database of potential special event targets and participate in solicitation and market research
- Attend association meetings for event planners, network, and report data to the General Manager
- Manage assigned events and act as direct contact for special events, attend rental meetings, and provide budgets
- Prepare checklists, schedules, and correspondence related to events
- Assist with ordering venue supplies, staff uniforms, and maintaining hospitality files
