Amp Up is a locally owned, high-energy entertainment venue located at 13901 Manchester Road in West County St. Louis. This vibrant facility offers a wide variety of fun attractions that appeal to visitors of all ages, including go karts, axe throwing, laser tag, a ninja ropes course, virtual reality experiences, and interactive gaming. Job Requirements

  • Pursuing a college education such as business, hospitality or communications
  • no prior experience necessary
  • ability to work 25-35 hours per week
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights and Saturdays
  • able to work in noisy, fast paced environment
  • ability to meet physical demands of walking or standing for up to 100 percent of the shift
  • ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups
  • ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • strong attention to detail
  • basic computer skills

  • must be able to interact and communicate well with children, parents and fellow crew members
  • strong written communicator with proven strength in grammar and spelling

  • ability to engage our guests of all ages in genuine conversations

Job Duties

  • Handle inbound and outbound phone calls and emails
  • quote and book parties, events and fundraisers
  • assist in event sales, lead identification and outreach
  • emote a special celebration vibe and maintain positive rapport with guests of all ages
  • finalize contracts, book reservations in system, assist with collection of event deposits and payments
  • ensure all pre-arrival booking procedures are followed, including waivers
  • handle all related paperwork, including Banquet Event Order (BEO) for precise team execution
