Job Requirements
- Willing to travel extensively

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- one to two years of experience in events, marketing, and/or communications preferred
- ability to present information concisely and effectively in both verbal and written manners
- ability to maintain composure and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Spanish language proficiency
- experience in baseball or softball highly preferred
- proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- ability to work independently with little supervision
- excellent interpersonal skills
- energetic and self-motivated
Job Duties
- Plan and execute the designated yearly goal of Legends for Youth, coaches clinics, and special events
- manage event logistics including scheduling, budgets, guest lists, venue, travel, lodging, and set up/break down
- serve as liaison between former players, current players, and outside partners including charities, organizations, and foundations
- collaborate with third-party organizations for successful execution of events from conception to completion
- generate new events and networking while on the road and in the office
- maintain and build relationships with team contacts, sponsors, and third-party organizations
- increase revenue and participation for youth clinics and the events department
- work collaboratively with membership, memorabilia, marketing, and communication departments
