Job Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in event/project management, business, communications, hospitality management, marketing, or logistics
  • Previous experience in event planning
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Creativity with attention to detail and aesthetics
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards

Job Duties

  • Coordinate and execute all aspects of special events including alumni, fundraising initiatives, stewardship, donor cultivation and community outreach programs
  • Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to develop event concepts, themes, timelines, and budgets
  • Manage event logistics such as venue selection, catering, guest lists, invitations, and onsite coordination
