Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • at least three years of experience in fundraising or non-profit special events management
  • strong administrative skills
  • experience with Raiser’s Edge strongly preferred
  • excellent interpersonal and customer service experience
  • ability to track and report data and revenue
  • excellent proofreading, writing and verbal communications skills

Job Duties

  • Coordinating Henry Street’s fundraising and cultivation events including the Gala Preview at Independent on May 14, 2026
  • overseeing all administrative areas for events such as solicitation and acknowledgement letters and emails, event registration data entry, ticketing, income and data reporting, payment processing, and website updates
  • driving communication strategy and coordinating event outreach through digital and print mailings
  • managing relationships and communication with committee members, donors, and sponsors for donor cultivation
  • researching and identifying new prospects for cultivation to increase event revenue pipelines
  • managing relationships with external partners and vendors to support seamless event experience
  • supporting auction logistics and donor cultivation
  • coordinating ongoing event analytics and evaluation on income and expenses
  • overseeing event front of house including logistics, staff assignments, volunteer training, onsite payment processing
  • developing and implementing additional creative and successful fundraising events for Henry Street
