Job Requirements
- Possess a valid Class C California drivers license
- Successfully clear a background investigation using Live Scan fingerprinting
- Ability to work some weekends and holidays
- Meet minimum qualifications for Staff Services Analyst
- Ability to prepare and maintain event-related documentation
- Ability to schedule staff and manage correspondence efficiently
- Must work in-office as telework is not eligible
- Possess good computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office and database systems
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience with various database systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects and stakeholders
- Experience in event planning or program coordination
- Ability to track financial transactions and billing
- Valid California Class C driver’s license
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments
Job Duties
- Coordinate all special event programs in the Folsom Lake State Recreation Area
- Serve as district-wide special event contact and support for other sectors in the Gold Fields District
- Schedule and meet with event promoters, financial sponsors, and district staff for pre-event planning and post-event program evaluations
- Track all associated costs and monitor receipts from promoters to ensure timely payment
- Calculate relative costs for billing and track special event revenues
- Schedule appropriate staff for event coverage
- Write correspondence to event promoters and financial sponsors
- Schedule Group Picnic area and manage still and motion film permit programs
- Work some weekends and holidays as needed
