Job Requirements

  • Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to live and work in Chattanooga, TN
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Previous event management or sales experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in a high-volume and fast paced environment
  • Clear communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Job Duties

  • Recruit, plan, execute and act as a primary on-site contact for non-baseball events at Erlanger Park
  • Assist with all events from beginning to end including walk-throughs, pre-event planning, food and beverage planning, staffing, load-in/out, event execution and post-event settlement
  • Assist in hiring and scheduling internal staffing for set-up, tear down and execution of events
  • Proactively solicit new business by making sales calls/presentations, attending trade shows, and engaging in other client prospecting with expectation of exceeding revenue targets
  • Create leads and develop long term relationships in the event planning, production and promotion communities
  • Support the marketing plan and strategy for stadium outside events including updating and maintaining all information on facility website, social media, and marketing materials
  • Provide superior customer service to clients before, during and after event
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
