Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in customer service or retail sales preferred
  • ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • ability to operate point-of-sale systems
  • capacity to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • capability to lift and handle objects up to 25 pounds
  • availability for on-call part-time work
  • ability to follow company policies and procedures
  • promptness and courteousness in responding to guest inquiries

Job Duties

  • Provide customer service in operations during various exhibitions and shows
  • operate attractions/events to help guests enjoy a safe experience
  • sell tickets for attractions/events with accurate and suggestive information
  • sell retail merchandise using suggestive sales techniques and maintain displays as needed
  • use the cash register and point-of-sale system to sell tickets or merchandise
  • be responsible for cash handling and deposits following established procedures
  • respond to guest inquiries by phone, in person, or electronically in a prompt and courteous manner
  • guide guests to the appropriate location with clear instructions
  • comply with all company policies and procedures
  • report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management
  • maintain a clean and professional appearance
  • protect company property and confidential information
  • greet and recognize all guests according to company standards
  • anticipate and meet guest service needs and express genuine appreciation
  • communicate clearly and professionally
  • develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • support the team to achieve common goals
  • ensure compliance with quality standards
  • identify and recommend ideas to improve effectiveness, productivity, quality, safety, or reduce costs
  • stand, sit, or walk for long periods
  • move, lift, transport, push, pull, and place objects up to 25 pounds without assistance
  • perform other reasonable work tasks as requested
