Job Requirements
- At least two years of experience in the event industry
- Prior customer service and telemarketing/sales experience
- Possess a competitive drive and positive attitude

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Work alongside the VP of Special events to enhance and grow the Special Events Department for the Jumbo Shrimp
- Make outside sales calls to groups in the community to sell special events at VyStar Ballpark
- Work with events from beginning to end including walk throughs, rate and contract negotiations, pre-event planning, food and beverage planning, staffing, load-in/out
- Organize and schedule internal staffing and working with 3rd party vendors for set-up, tear down and execution of events
- Work with our internal Food & Beverage team on all the details of catering menus for events
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and potential clients alike
- Cultivate a strong working relationship with all team departments, including, but not limited to, operations, grounds, food & beverage, marketing and sales
- Create leads and develop long term relationships in the event planning, production and promotions communities to enhance events
- Complete other duties as assigned
