Job Requirements
- ability to work extended hours across all shifts in a 24/7 work environment
- ability to work in a high energy casino environment with over 300,000 square feet of gaming and entertainment space
- ability to work around approximately 3,000 employees in a busy setting
- tolerate exposure to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke
- tolerate exposure to bright lights and loud noises
- ability to work in an environment where smoking is allowed
Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree in marketing and/or entertainment based field preferred or equivalent professional experience
- event planning experience preferred
- vip services experience preferred
- general hosting experience preferred
- proficiency in microsoft office products
Job Duties
- maintain upbeat and positive attitude
- collaborate effectively as a team player
- contribute to program development to achieve departmental goals
- ensure prompt, professional, and courteous patron interaction during promotions or events
- assist in arranging entertainment for special events and promotions
- resolve patron and team member questions, complaints, or problems related to promotions or events promptly
- plan and execute events and promotions as directed by management
- support marketing programs, promotions, and special events aimed at increasing casino revenues
- track and analyze marketing program effectiveness
- complete reports, database management, and correspondence in a timely manner
- coordinate with third parties for flawless event planning and execution on property
- monitor event timelines and budget adherence
- perform additional duties as assigned
- adhere to all department and company policies and procedures
