Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • At least 3 years' experience in event planning, fundraising, donor relations, or volunteer coordination
  • Strong writing abilities and verbal communication skills including comfort with public speaking required
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple planning timelines required
  • Intermediate knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Familiarity with donor databases preferred
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities helpful
  • Must be adaptable, collaborative, creative, and mission driven
  • Must be available for occasional evening and weekend work
  • Must pass a Level II background check/fingerprinting, drug screening, and FDOT/MVR check

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Lead planning, logistics, and execution of signature fundraising events and community engagement activities
  • Manage event timelines, budgets, vendors, volunteer roles, and event day operations
  • Support donor stewardship and fundraising activities including sponsorship outreach, follow-up, and acknowledgment
  • Coordinate event materials such as invitations, programs, signage, and scripts
  • Assist with implementing the Development Plan in alignment with organizational goals
  • Support fundraising reports, donor engagement tracking, and event metrics
  • Schedule and coordinate tours for donors, leadership groups, community partners, and professionals
