Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to two years of related experience in theatre technical support
- Ability to work on-call and intermittent hours
- Knowledge of basic electrical theory and safety standards related to stage operations
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and designs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Satisfactory completion of a background check
Job Qualifications
- One to two years experience working in lighting, sound, projections, stage rigging, or set construction in a theater or related company
- Bachelor's degree in Theatre, Fine Arts, or related field preferred
- Valid California Driver's License preferred
Job Duties
- Ensure a safe working environment and successful completion of events
- Provide audio setup and operate various sound boards
- Perform lighting setup including hang and focus, and operate various lighting boards
- Supervise use of Theatre Department spaces including locking/unlocking and granting access
- Utilize counterweight rigging system
- Operate stationary, power, and hand tools as required in woodworking
- Interpret technical drawings and designs and provide front of house operations and audience management
- Perform other duties as assigned
