Job Duties
- perform light office work
- assist the Special Events Manager with day-to-day operations
- assist in setup, operation and teardown of events
- interact with event attendees in a friendly, engaging manner
- assist in identifying sponsorships for events and programs
- assist in creating new events
- serve as vendor liaison and coordinator
- work closely with parks maintenance to ensure cooperation for events
- coordinate promotion of activities and recruitment of participants for volunteer efforts and department-wide ventures
- assist with scheduling and coordination of community spaces
- perform other duties as assigned
