Job Requirements

  • HSD/GED
  • valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record
  • 6 months prior experience setting up large tents for outdoor events
  • 6 months prior experience setting up stages, pipe and drape, tables, chairs, linen and other special event equipment
  • 2 years experience in events industry with technical familiarity in equipment, techniques, supplies, tenting, event management, event sales, safety practices, and hazard identification
  • strong skills in event production, time management, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • displays leadership including positive attitude, preparedness, diligence, endurance and energy
  • proficiency in PartyCAD and/or other CAD software
  • proficiency with or aptitude to learn Point of Rental software
  • proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook
  • creative, resourceful and flexible problem-solving approach
  • demonstrated written and oral communication skills
  • strong initiative and appropriate sense of urgency
  • highly developed organizational and delegation skills
  • deep commitment to customer service and quality
  • honesty, integrity and strong work ethic

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Coordinate all aspects of event productions including CADs drawings, production meetings, and Time and Action plans
  • promote and practice safety in all aspects of event delivery, setup, strike and pick-up
  • provide leadership to all field staff as the designated authority on the jobsite
  • work collaboratively with sales personnel, customers, outside vendors, and operations staff
  • complete site walks to create and develop detailed CADs in support of sales staff and clients
  • produce comprehensive Time and Action plans with crew assignments and event timelines
  • coordinate with dispatch to ensure transportation needs are met for event
  • develop detailed Handling Equipment forms to accompany contracts
  • perform other duties as assigned
