Job Requirements

  • Current Indiana Paramedic certification
  • Valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of EMS field experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and maintain composure under pressure
  • Reliable transportation to event locations
  • Flexibility for varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Capability to work in diverse environments including outdoor settings and large crowds

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Provide emergency medical care and basic/advanced life support according to Indiana EMS protocols
  • Assess patients and determine appropriate treatment in various event environments
  • Monitor and manage patients until care is transferred to an ambulance crew or higher-level facility
  • Work closely with EMTs, event staff, security, and venue personnel to ensure safety and efficient response
  • Maintain clear, accurate documentation of all patient encounters and interventions
  • Ensure equipment, supplies, and medical kits are stocked, clean, and ready for deployment
  • Represent the EMS agency with professionalism and excellent customer service
