Job Requirements
- 21 plus years of age
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening
- Commercial vehicle drivers must read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public, understand highway signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and complete required reports
- Possession of a valid Class C or standard driver license
- Ability to lift and handle freight weighing up to 100 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid Class C or standard operator driver license required
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English to communicate with customers and interpret traffic signs
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Physical capability to lift, push, or move product weighing between 40 to 100 pounds
- Commitment to safety and adherence to DOT regulations if operating tractor-trailers
Job Duties
- Safely operate Class C delivery trucks to transport products to customer locations
- Manually unload and deliver various food and supply items including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, and dry goods
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships by understanding client needs and providing friendly service
- Follow assigned route schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Adhere to company safety and driving standards
- Maintain accurate delivery records and reports
- Operate tractor-trailers when required and qualified to do so
