Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year serving experience
- STAR certification prior to first day
- Food Handler certification
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous cash handling experience
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros
- Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
- Team-oriented mindset
- Commitment to safety and cleanliness standards
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year serving experience
- Experience in high volume sports bar preferred
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer
- Experience in selling and presenting specialty mixed cocktails
- Previous cash handling experience required
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to accurately use Micros POS system
- Capable of handling stressful situations calmly
- Ability to work well with team members
- Strong prioritization, organizational and follow-up skills
- Excellent customer service and problem solving abilities
- Must be STAR certified prior to first day
- Must be Food Handler certified
- Availability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to move, lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
Job Duties
- Wait on tables promptly and courteously
- Serve guests in a professional manner according to Omni Moments of Service Standards
- Set up and break down stations
- Polish and clean glassware before opening hours
- Ring orders accurately into Micros system and deliver to tables
- Continually check back with guests for satisfaction
- Clean, clear and reset service areas
- Protect the hotel from liability by responsibly serving guests
- Ensure tables are properly set up
- Help guests locate other hotel areas by escorting when possible
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions
- Familiarize with food and beverage menus
- Adhere to cash handling standards
- Follow company policies on appearance, confidentiality, and asset protection
- Comply with safety and security policies
- Report accidents and unsafe conditions
- Complete safety training and certifications
- Perform other duties assigned by management
