Job Requirements
- High school diploma or Certificate of High School Equivalency
- Associates degree from a two-year college or technical school
- three years’ related experience and/or training
- experience with FlightSafety International or equivalent knowledge of electrical/electronic components
- inventory management experience
- warehouse management experience
- ability to establish and maintain automated inventory records
- strong communication skills
- ability to work with teams
- proactive and safety-conscious approach
- ability to handle physical demands of the role including standing, walking, sitting, and using hands and arms
- ability to view monitors and technical documents

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Establish and maintain automated records of physical inventory
- accountable for ensuring that FTD parts/spares are readily available for repair or replacement actions by FTD staff without overstocking or overspending
- order bench stock, materials, parts and equipment for Flight Training Devices support
- acquire and maintain spares cost and pricing data with use of automated data management techniques and tools
- ship rotatable or expendable spares to other FlightSafety International Centers as required
- acquire and analyze repair quotes and balance cost of repairs and make recommendation to management on most cost-effective method of repair
- coordinate repair activities with repair Centers at FlightSafety Simulation and local repair capability in support of FSS and other FlightSafety International Centers
- ship spares to Simulation Systems Functional group or other vendor(s) for repair and track returns to stock in a timely manner
- interact with various other FTD staff regarding needed spares/parts in anticipation of repair or replacement actions
- assist SFTD/MFTD in setting appropriate minimum quantity levels for spares using analysis of past usage patterns and estimates of future usage
- provide training and guidance to Associate Spares Support at other FlightSafety International training Centers
- report safety hazards in work area, equipment, and/or building for correction
