Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years of spa experience in a hotel setting
  • Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work varied schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to maintain a clean and professional appearance
  • Compliance with safety and operational policies
  • Ability to handle guest complaints and emergencies calmly
  • Knowledge of hotel POS systems
  • English proficiency
  • Willingness to follow all company and regulatory procedures

Job Qualifications

  • One to two years of progressive spa experience in a hotel environment
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and train staff
  • Ability to anticipate business needs and schedule accordingly
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Completion of all required training
  • CPR certification may be required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
  • Strong reasoning and analytical skills
  • Ability to learn and use hotel POS systems
  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and business publications
  • English proficiency required
  • Spanish a plus
  • Scheduling flexibility for varied hours including holidays and weekends
  • Professional appearance and demeanor

Job Duties

  • Supervises team members in spa areas in accordance with company policies and laws
  • Interviews, trains, assigns work, and recommends candidates for hire
  • Creates schedules and manages time and attendance records
  • Monitors day-to-day spa operations to ensure service standards exceed guest expectations
  • Oversees spa and fitness scheduling, reservations, and class coordination
  • Engages with guests by greeting and introducing spa facilities and services
  • Supports achievement of budgeted revenue and controls expenses
  • Actively maintains presence throughout spa areas to ensure consistent service quality
  • Ensures all spa areas are clean, set up, and maintained
  • Monitors and replenishes retail inventory, supplies, and equipment
  • Monitors and enforces standard operating procedures
  • Adheres to safety policies and OSHA regulations
  • Responds to guest inquiries, coordinates special arrangements, and resolves issues within scope of authority
