Job Requirements
- Education to high school diploma or equivalent
- one to two years of spa experience in a hotel setting
- supervisory experience preferred
- strong leadership and communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- CPR certification obtained or willing to obtain within 30 days
- ability to manage multiple tasks and work in fast-paced environments
- proficiency in English
- professional appearance
- knowledge of safety and compliance regulations
- ability to operate hotel POS systems
Job Qualifications
- One to two years of progressive spa experience in a hotel environment
- supervisory experience preferred
- demonstrated ability to mentor and train staff
- ability to anticipate business needs and control labor costs
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- completion of all required training
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days
- strong reasoning and analytical skills
- ability to learn hotel POS systems
- strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- ability to read, interpret, and present technical and business information
- English proficiency required
- Spanish a plus
- ability to work varied schedules including holidays and weekends
- maintains a professional appearance and demeanor
Job Duties
- Supervises team members in spa areas according to company policies and laws
- interviews, trains, assigns work, and recommends candidates for hire
- creates schedules and monitors time and attendance
- monitors day-to-day spa operations to ensure service standards exceed expectations
- oversees spa and fitness scheduling, reservations, and class coordination
- greets and introduces guests to spa services
- demonstrates a guest-focused leadership style
- supports budget achievement and controls expenses
- analyzes forecasts, cost reports, and revenue data
- maintains presence to ensure consistent service delivery
- resolves guest concerns promptly
- ensures spa areas are clean and well-maintained
- monitors and replenishes retail inventory and supplies
- prepares and submits supply orders
- enforces standard operating procedures and participates in meetings
- follows safety policies and complies with OSHA regulations
- reports safety concerns
- maintains reliable, on-time attendance
- responds to guest inquiries and coordinates special arrangements
- ensures compliance with alcohol service policies
- reports guest complaints and unusual situations
