Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years of spa experience in a hotel setting
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to work varied schedules including holidays, weekends, and shifts
  • CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Ability to use POS systems
  • Capacity to handle multiple tasks in fast-paced environments
  • Physically capable of wearing required footwear and standing for extended periods
  • Reliable and punctual attendance

Job Qualifications

  • One to two years of progressive spa experience in a hotel environment
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and train staff
  • Ability to anticipate business needs and control labor costs
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Completes all required training as scheduled
  • CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
  • Strong reasoning and analytical skills
  • Ability to learn and use hotel POS systems
  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Ability to read, interpret technical documents and business publications
  • English proficiency required
  • Scheduling flexibility including holidays and weekends
  • Maintains a clean appearance and professional demeanor

Job Duties

  • Supervises team members in assigned spa areas in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Interviews, trains, assigns and directs work
  • Creates schedules and recommends performance actions
  • Monitors day-to-day spa operations to ensure service standards exceed guest expectations
  • Oversees spa and fitness scheduling, reservations, class coordination, and guest communication
  • Greets and introduces guests to spa facilities and services
  • Supports achievement of budgeted revenue and controls expenses
  • Maintains a strong presence to ensure consistent service delivery
  • Ensures facility cleanliness and inventory management
  • Monitors and enforces standard operating procedures
  • Adheres to safety policies and reports safety concerns
  • Responds to guest inquiries and resolves issues within scope of authority
  • Ensures compliance with alcohol service policies
  • Participates in weekly meetings with management
