Job Duties

  • Responsible for the guest's first impressions of the Spa staff
  • greet guests with a smile and communicate with diverse personalities
  • answer the phone properly using good telephone etiquette
  • utilize spa computer systems skillfully and proficiently
  • schedule and reschedule appointments effectively to ensure smooth operation
  • detect errors in the appointment book and resolve to prevent issues
  • coordinate seamless, Forbes 5 star check-in and check-out for all guests
  • communicate clearly about the differences and benefits of spa services
  • provide a 5 star tour and orientation to arriving guests
  • apply effective conflict resolution skills
  • maintain knowledge of all spa treatments, booking order, and contraindications
  • enforce spa policies effectively
  • oversee spa billing and gratuities accurately
  • support spa management with staffing issues such as therapist no-shows
  • maintain a clean, safe, and healthy working environment
  • monitor customer service throughout the spa
  • forecast guest needs including locker room supplies and food and beverage
  • assist in opening and closing the facility according to procedures
  • attend trainings and meetings regularly
  • restock and maintain front desk supplies
  • complete all point of sale and accounting functions accurately
  • follow cash handling procedures
  • maintain the reception area in good order
  • perform cleaning duties as assigned
  • accept responsibility for spa projects including outside normal hours
  • assist teammates and accept additional duties as assigned by management
