Job Requirements

  • Education and/or experience in communication and judgment
  • Ability to direct and manage people
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, fractions and decimals

Job Duties

  • Responsible for the guest's first impressions of the spa staff
  • Greets guest with a smile and communicates effectively with diverse personalities
  • Answers the phone properly using good telephone etiquette
  • Utilizes spa computer systems with skill and proficiency
  • Schedules and reschedules appointments effectively to keep guests and services moving smoothly
  • Detects errors on the appointment book before they cause problems
  • Coordinates seamless Forbes 5 star check in and check out for all guests
  • Communicates clearly the difference between spa service features and their benefits
  • Provides a 5 star tour and orientation to arriving guests
  • Demonstrates effective conflict resolution skills
  • Shows comprehensive knowledge of spa treatments, booking order and contraindications
  • Enforces spa policies and procedures accurately
  • Responsible for all spa billing and gratuities
  • Supports spa MOD in handling scheduling issues and therapist absences
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and healthy spa environment
  • Oversees customer service throughout the spa by periodically ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Forecasts guest needs such as locker room supplies and food and beverage
  • Assists Spa MODs in opening and closing the facility
  • Attends trainings and meetings
  • Restocks and maintains front desk areas with necessary supplies
  • Accurately completes all point of sale functions and accounting requirements
  • Follows cash handling procedures
  • Keeps reception area orderly and attends to guest needs before technician service
  • Performs assigned cleaning duties as a team member
  • Accepts responsibility for spa projects including outside normal hours
  • Provides support to teammates and fulfills assigned management duties when necessary
