Job Requirements

  • Previous receptionist or administrative experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Receptionist, administrative, and/or HR experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
  • Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications
  • Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Detail oriented
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information

Job Duties

  • Answer multi-line telephone system, screen and direct calls in accordance with Highgate standards
  • Take and relay messages
  • Greet persons entering organization
  • Direct guests to correct destination
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support
  • Perform typing, filing, and faxing
  • Notify proper personnel of overnight deliveries
  • Maintain conference room calendars
  • Maintain company extension list
  • Tidy and maintain reception area and conference rooms
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
