Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, push, pull, and lift up to 40 lbs for extended periods
  • perform cleaning and restocking duties across spa, outdoor pool, and fitness areas
  • comfortable working in warm, humid, aromatic, and outdoor environments
  • flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • current Food Handler's and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS or equivalent) certification, or ability to obtain upon hire

Job Qualifications

  • Previous hospitality, spa, or customer service experience preferred
  • strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and presentation
  • excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • ability to multitask and remain efficient in a fast-paced luxury spa environment
  • basic knowledge of payment processing and cash-handling procedures

Job Duties

  • Warmly greet guests, provide spa tours, explain amenities, services, packages, and promotions
  • maintain current knowledge of hotel services, promotions, and offerings
  • manage guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently
  • schedule spa treatments using booking software and coordinate with therapists
  • answer phone calls, respond to emails, address guest inquiries promptly
  • assist guests with lockers, robes, slippers, towels, refreshments, and other spa essentials
  • escalate guest concerns to management as needed ensuring timely resolution
  • maintain a calm, welcoming, and professional atmosphere throughout the spa
  • process payments accurately, issue receipts, handle cash or card transactions
  • reconcile daily transactions and prepare end-of-shift reports
  • monitor appointment schedules and coordinate with therapists for seamless service
  • maintain accurate guest records and ensure confidentiality
  • ensure all spa areas including treatment rooms, locker rooms, saunas, steam rooms, lounges, and showers are clean, sanitized, and well-maintained
  • restock towels, linens, amenities, and refreshments consistently
  • monitor spa equipment and report maintenance issues promptly
  • launder linens and towels as needed, maintaining tidy and visually appealing spaces
  • adhere to strict health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
  • prepare treatment rooms before and after each service
  • assist therapists and spa staff with daily operations as needed
  • organize and maintain inventory of spa products, linens, and supplies
  • communicate effectively with spa management, housekeeping, and other hotel departments
  • collaborate with colleagues across departments to uphold high service standards
  • comply with all health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and infection control procedures
  • maintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces across spa and wellness areas
  • safely handle chemicals, equipment, and supplies per SDS and OSHA guidelines
  • replenish inventory and ensure supplies and displays are well-stocked, organized, clean, visually appealing, and aligned with brand standards
  • follow all hotel policies regarding attendance, grooming, uniform standards, meal and rest breaks, and professional conduct
  • uphold confidentiality of guest information and preferences
  • deliver courteous, respectful service to all guests and colleagues
