Job Requirements
- Minimum of two years of combined spa or hotel front desk and/or retail experience preferred
- CPR certification preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Computer skills, experience and aptitude
- Reliability and punctuality are critical
- Ability to work under pressure with a high level of patience
- Desire to ensure the best possible guest experience
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, weekdays and holidays required
- Ability to work in a quiet environment where the employee may be exposed to heat and steam
- Ability to stand for eight or more hours per day, sit, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing up to 40 pounds
- The position requires manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures, and the ability to speak and communicate quietly yet clearly

Job Duties
- Promptly answer phones and provide accurate spa menu and related resort information
- book guest appointments efficiently and accurately
- assist Lead Spa Coordinator, Spa Coordinator and Spa Director with LMT bookings, communication and paperwork
- greet guests with a sincere welcome and explain services in the spa menu
- engage all spa guests in friendly conversation when appropriate
- have a comprehensive knowledge of all spa menu and retail products and services
- articulate and describe all spa services, retail products and related services clearly and enthusiastically
- escort and tour guests through spa facility as needed in a friendly, unhurried manner
- promote service specials and spa facility
- communicate with Lead Spa Coordinator and/or Spa & Retail Director regarding any guest requests or problems
- handle daily paperwork as directed or per protocol
- open and close the spa including cash handling, processing retail receipts, running reports and associated duties
- keep front desk and lobby reception areas immaculate
- assist with monthly retail inventory planning and implementation
- utilize downtime effectively by reviewing checklists and following verbal instructions or seeking guidance
- perform spa attendant role as needed
- understand first aid/emergency procedures and direct guests accordingly
- incorporate the resort's culture of service excellence, mission and core values into all aspects of job performance
