The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is a luxurious mountain resort located in the famous Deer Valley ski area, approximately 40 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in customer service or spa reception preferred
- strong communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- must have current alcohol server certification and/or food service permit as required by local or state laws
- excellent organizational skills
- ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment
- strong attention to detail
- proficiency with reservation and point of sale systems
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer service role (spa or hospitality experience preferred)
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- comfortable using booking and POS systems is a plus
- a calm, composed presence with a passion for wellness and guest care
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced, service-focused environment
- current alcohol server certification and/or food service permit as required by local or state government agency
Job Duties
- Greet all guests with a friendly, calm, and professional demeanor
- manage appointment bookings, confirmations, and cancellations efficiently
- check guests in and out, process payments, and handle billing inquiries
- provide knowledgeable recommendations on spa treatments and retail products
- maintain a clean, organized, and tranquil front desk and lobby area
- support the spa team in ensuring a seamless and relaxing guest experience
- promote wellness and self-care through thoughtful communication and service
