Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year relative receptionist or customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- Knowledge of fitness, aquatics, salon, and spa standards a plus
- Computer literate
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Must be able to calculate discounts and percentages
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memorandums
- Ability to communicate positively and effectively with team members and supervisors about job tasks and responsibilities
- Desire to contribute to a productive work environment by maintaining a positive attitude with team members and the public
- Must be self-motivated, follow direction, and able to work independently with little supervision
- Must demonstrate initiative with an ability to think, work, solve practical problems, and make independent decisions based on sound judgment
- Must have good time management, organization, and follow-up skills
- Must be able to consistently achieve high work standards
- Attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness is expected
- Must be able to pay attention to multiple details and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where continuous improvement is expected
- This position requires a flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends

Job Duties
- Greet and welcome members and guests in an energetic and friendly fashion according to BlueStar protocol via phone or onsite
- Respond to requests and direct calls to staff members and relay messages
- Schedule reservations for personal training sessions or fitness programs
- Maintain daily standard operating procedures for the opening and closing of the Spa & Fitness Center including a walk through the center for general inspection to assure it is neat, clean, set up properly, and meets Club standards
- Monitor Club and fitness rules to ensure they are being enforced
- Be aware of the daily calendar for Club and fitness activities and respond to fitness related questions
- Enter member profiles and conduct member orientation for equipment use
- Sell retail and fitness passes
- Handle cash and card transactions ensuring charges are accurate and return correct change to guests
- Report maintenance and safety issues to a supervisor or maintenance staff
- Become knowledgeable about facility services and programs to encourage members and guests to dine in the restaurants and participate in spa, salon, and fitness services
- Fold guest towels as needed
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned
