Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year relative receptionist or customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- Knowledge of fitness, aquatics, salon, and spa standards a plus
- Computer literate
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memorandums
- Ability to communicate positively and effectively with team members and supervisors
- Desire to contribute to a productive work environment by maintaining a positive attitude
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and follow direction
- Demonstrates initiative, problem solving, and sound judgment
- Good time management, organization, and follow-up skills
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends required

Job Duties
- Greet and welcome members and guests in an energetic and friendly fashion according to BlueStar protocol via phone or onsite
- Respond to requests and direct calls to staff members and relay messages
- Schedule reservations for personal training sessions or fitness programs
- Maintain daily standard operating procedures for the opening and closing of the Spa & Fitness Center including inspections to ensure cleanliness and proper setup
- Monitor club and fitness rules to ensure enforcement
- Be aware of the daily calendar for club and fitness activities and respond to fitness related questions
- Enter member profiles and conduct member orientation for equipment use
- Sell retail and fitness passes
- Handle cash and card transactions ensuring accuracy and return correct change
- Report maintenance and safety issues to supervisor or maintenance staff
- Become knowledgeable about facility services and programs to encourage dining and participation in spa, salon, and fitness services
- Fold guest towels as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
