Job Requirements
- Must be able to obtain a City of Scottsdale Massage Facilities License within 90 days of employment
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have a college degree or 5 years of spa management experience as equivalent
- Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 pounds
- Availability to work variable hours 5-6 days per week depending on season
- Required to drive a motor vehicle
Job Qualifications
- Spa management experience of at least 3 years
- Prior experience in country club, hotel, resort, or retail preferred
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement training programs
- Knowledge of inventory and cost control processes
- Experience with POS management
- Valid driver’s license
- Able to obtain City of Scottsdale Massage Facilities License within 90 days of employment
- College degree preferred or 5 years equivalent spa management experience
Job Duties
- Assist the Spa Director in establishing and upholding standard operating procedures according to Desert Mountain Club policies
- Conduct performance evaluations and handle employee relations including engagement, recognition, and disciplinary actions
- Collaborate with the Director of Spa and Director of Sonoran to develop training programs focusing on service excellence and front of house operations
- Manage inventory and cost control by overseeing purchasing, receiving, and internal transfers
- Provide administrative support to the Director of Spa
- Maintain all lockers ensuring good condition and availability for members
- Manage all spa reception operations including proper opening, closing, and daily procedures
- Manage POS issues and assist accounting with spa-related concerns
- Enforce club rules, regulations, and spa reservation policies
- Monitor member services to ensure standards meet or exceed guidelines and follow up on member issues
- Provide immediate and accurate responses to member and guest requests
- Participate in meetings, training, and member engagement activities
- Collaborate on promotion of spa specials, products, and events
- Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Spa
