Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include nights and weekends
- Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment
- Ability to read and interpret documents in English
- Ability to read and communicate verbally in English
- Written communication skills in English may be required
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- The physical ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and perform various physical activities such as pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, stacking, crouching, kneeling, and balancing
- Ability to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations
Job Qualifications
- Three years of experience in spa operations, spa management, or a related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- At least three years of leadership/management experience in a resort spa or a similar or related field preferred
- Minimum of five years working in a luxury resort setting or similar industry
- Working knowledge of spa booking systems
- Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Polished appearance and demeanor
- Excellent guest and team member skills
- Effective time management skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Extraordinary attention to detail while working under tight deadlines
- Ability to provide leadership and direction contributing to the success of the organization through engaging, developing, and mentoring individuals and teams
- Ability to resolve problems to the satisfaction of both the guest and the company
- Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
Job Duties
- Responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and training all Members in all spa areas
- Manage overall guest satisfaction, establish goals and timeframes, and monitor progress to achieve desired outcomes
- Support the Spa Director and Spa Assistant Director on revenue generating incentives throughout the spa
- Monitor the pricing of competitors, understand the dynamics of the local market and demand generators, provide recommendations on revenue opportunities
- Review reports and analytics and determine the spa weekly and long-range calculations, provide forecasts to spa leadership
- With the assistance of the Group Sales and Service Supervisor, oversee all group and convention bookings for the Spa
- Coordinate the yield management process and manages the spa booking system daily
