Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 3-5+ years of leadership experience in spa or wellness setting
  • Minimum 2 years in supervisory or management capacity
  • Strong financial management skills including P&L oversight
  • Knowledge of relevant spa software and scheduling platforms
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to high standards of guest service and operational excellence

Job Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of leadership experience in spa or luxury hospitality environments
  • Minimum 2 years in supervisory or management roles
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L and meeting revenue and profit targets
  • Proven success in building and leading guest-focused teams
  • Knowledge of spa management software, POS, inventory control, and scheduling systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with cross-department influence
  • Experience in luxury resort or hotel spa preferred
  • Background as licensed therapist or esthetician a plus
  • Familiarity with Napa Valley market and luxury traveler expectations

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily spa operations including front desk, locker rooms, treatment rooms, and relaxation areas
  • Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures for spa services and safety
  • Manage scheduling to optimize therapist productivity and labor costs
  • Ensure compliance with all licenses, certifications, and inspections
  • Own spa profit and loss including forecasting, budgeting, and achieving revenue targets
  • Optimize treatment mix, pricing, and promotions based on demand and guest feedback
  • Drive retail strategy including product curation, merchandising, and inventory management
  • Analyze key performance indicators and implement quick improvements
  • Curate wellness experiences leveraging local ingredients and terroir
  • Ensure consistent luxury service standards and warm guest interactions
  • Monitor and act on guest feedback to maintain top satisfaction scores
  • Partner with marketing and revenue teams on packages and promotions
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing spa team
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and foster a culture of accountability
  • Create and manage incentive programs for sales and retail performance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with resort departments to integrate spa offerings
  • Coordinate with engineering and housekeeping to maintain spa facilities
  • Provide timely information to sales for proposals and VIP itineraries
