Job Requirements
- Must be detail-oriented and have ability to multi-task
- staying knowledgeable of spa treatments, packages, services, facility features and hours of operation
- strong customer relations and hospitality skills with guests always
- ability to work inter-departmentally, with Restaurant, Kitchen, Front Desk, and other Dawn Ranch Team members
- actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions, and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available
- able to always maintain guest confidentiality and professionalism
- able to be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment
- possess a friendly and outgoing demeanor
- excellent communication, listening and computer skills
- proficient in the use of computers and other common technology devices, able to learn to use new software easily and quickly
- able to walk, including climbing stairs, and ladders, standing to a significant degree, kneeling, reaching, bending, handling machinery, cleaning, lifting, feeling, talking, hearing, and see
- able to stand for long periods of time or for the duration of a shift
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- additional education or training in hospitality or customer service preferred
- minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a spa or hotel environment
- strong customer service skills, with the ability to respond to guest inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- flexible schedule to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Acknowledge and greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor daily and provide detailed information about the spa's services and products
- accurately book, change and cancel spa appointments
- answer the phone promptly using excellent customer service at all times
- collect payment for services and products, including cash, credit card, and gift card transactions
- provide accurate, appropriate, and immediate responses to all requests by guests, answering effectively and respectfully at all times, ensuring complete guest satisfaction
- maintain a clean, safe, fully stocked, and well-organized work area including the reception, lounge, changing/rest rooms, outdoor decks
- regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa
- assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management
