Job Requirements

  • Education in spa management or hospitality or equivalent experience
  • at least 5 years of previous employment in related position
  • experience in a luxury hotel property
  • excellent proficiency in English
  • minimum 5 years management experience in a luxury spa
  • superior knowledge of spa, wellness and holistic modalities
  • thorough knowledge of 5-star service standards
  • effective application of spa staffing models
  • proven ability to create and implement spa service menus
  • effective retail management
  • successful marketing strategies
  • demonstrated ability to project costs and revenue and adhere to budget

Job Qualifications

  • Education in spa management or hospitality or equivalent experience

Job Duties

  • Supervise the management and growth of spa staff
  • integrate and encourage growth of spa management personnel at other properties
  • assist on projects and provide knowledge and reference to staff
  • interview, train, schedule, monitor employee performance, discipline and complete payroll for personnel
  • monitor quality and timeliness of communication generated by the Wellness Department
  • manage operating supply funds and generate purchase requisitions
  • participate in Member Fitness Committee and hotel meetings
  • convey clear instructions and guidance to staff to promote high employee morale
  • respond appropriately to hotel emergencies and safety situations
