Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of supervisory experience in a spa or hospitality environment
  • Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in spa software and scheduling systems
  • Ability to handle difficult situations with empathy and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to adapt to a changing work environment
  • Physical ability to perform tasks including bending, twisting, sitting and standing as required
  • Ability to travel independently between locations
  • Commitment to uphold company culture and values

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of company policies
  • Knowledge of principles and procedures for managing personnel including hiring, motivating, and development
  • Ability to read, understand and communicate information in writing
  • Ability to understand and communicate orally
  • Ability to utilize spa software programs
  • Customer service and leadership experience in spa or hospitality industries preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to support and develop diverse environments
  • Experience in personnel supervision, training and evaluation
  • Ability to manage multiple competing demands

Job Duties

  • Work with Assistant Manager of Guest Service to provide exceptional training, supervision and development of the guest service team in accordance with company policies and directives
  • Assist in training the Spa Desk staff on operations and ensure adherence to standard operating, opening, closing, time clock procedures, and shift coverage and computer policies
  • Implement all laws, regulations and policies regarding employment practices, safety rules and company policies
  • Oversee day-to-day Spa operations ensuring smooth and efficient functioning through visible leadership
  • Monitor uniform adherence of Guest Service associates
  • Ensure safety and security of The Spa and Salon through continuous monitoring of member and guest check-in
  • Conduct daily walk-throughs of The Spa and Salon to maintain clean, organized and well-maintained facility
  • Resolve member billing issues, gift card purchases and discrepancies
  • Complete daily drawer reports and synchronize software applications
  • Drive and support initiatives to increase revenues and optimize booking potentials
  • Communicate timely and follow up appropriately
  • Actively participate in required events, programs, meetings and trainings
  • Promote harmonious relations among associates, providers, guests, members, vendors and community
  • Maintain flexibility in work schedule including day and evening shifts, weekends and holidays
  • Maintain cleanliness of facility at all times
  • Assist with cleaning and laundry duties as needed
