Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 months experience as Spa Receptionist in a five stars spa or 9 months in a non-Five Stars Spa
  • Previous experience with spa booking software such as Spasoft or others
  • Proficiency in English language
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours and climb stairs
  • Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in varying temperature and noise conditions
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach
  • Flexibility to work variable schedules
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Positive and professional demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language
  • A minimum of 6 months as Spa Receptionist in a five stars spa or 9 months in a non-Five Stars Spa
  • Previous experience with a spa booking engine such as Spasoft or others
  • Experience in guest service or similar experience
  • Positive demeanor
  • Commitment to spa needs, colleagues, and guests
  • Provide legible communication and direction
  • Compute basic mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers)
  • Computer literate and experienced
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule
  • Must be self-motivated, proactive
  • Must be flexible and able to work efficiently under pressure
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
  • Prioritize, organize and follow-up

Job Duties

  • Welcome hotel guests, residents and external guests to the spa and answer all inquiries for treatments or retail sales while observing set standards
  • Have a complete knowledge of the treatments and services offered, and any promotions that may be offered at the time
  • Responsible for driving the revenue of all business centres in the spa through effective scheduling, yield management and sales
  • Ensure that all operational procedures, codes of conduct and standards of appearance for the spa reception operations are implemented and adhered to
  • Organize scheduling and maximize use of time within the day
  • Oversee the retail area and make sure guests are receiving a memorable spa experience in order to achieve spa financial goals
