Job Duties

  • Schedule services for individuals and large groups using spa or salon booking software
  • call guests to confirm scheduled services
  • answer questions about available services
  • update reservation and cancellation lists throughout the day
  • inform providers about last-minute changes and resolve scheduling issues
  • check in guests upon arrival, confirm their names, and provide an overview of the spa
  • promote and sell spa or salon services
  • manage assigned cash drawer, ensure accuracy, obtain necessary change, and keep the drawer secure
  • process guest payments for spa or salon services and obtain payment authorization as required
  • accept and record cash tips for employees
  • balance, scan, and deliver receipts to accounting
  • notify engineering of maintenance and repair needs
  • report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to the manager
  • comply with all company policies and procedures
  • maintain professional and neat personal appearance
  • maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company property
  • warmly greet all guests according to company standards
  • anticipate and attend to guests’ service needs
  • assist guests with disabilities
  • communicate professionally and clearly
  • handle phone calls with proper protocol
  • cultivate and maintain positive workplace relationships
  • adhere to quality assurance standards
  • stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • move, lift, transport, push, drag, and place objects up to 10 pounds unassisted
  • perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors
