Job Requirements

  • 1+ years cooking experience
  • Willingness and ability to work part-time with variable shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of knives and knife skills
  • Familiarity with standard kitchen equipment and supplies such as toasters, refrigerators, coolers, slicers, beverage machines, Cryovac machine, and smallwares
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments
  • Commitment to food safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • 1+ years prior experience as a cook in a similar environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of knives and knife skills
  • Knowledge of standard kitchen equipment and supplies, including toasters, refrigerators, coolers, slicers, beverage machines, Cryovac machine and smallwares
  • Ability to work part-time schedule with variable shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Attention to detail in food preparation and presentation

Job Duties

  • Skillfully apply culinary techniques and maintain solid knowledge of food products
  • Safely use kitchen equipment and restock supplies and food items as needed
  • Properly label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation
  • Maintain menu knowledge and attention to detail in plate presentation
  • Assist kitchen leadership and staff in executing service
  • Prepare base sauces, stocks, and soups as required
  • Collaborate with the team to meet guest needs and inquiries
