Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years culinary leadership experience preferably in a high profile culinary driven environment
  • associate or bachelor’s degree in culinary arts highly preferred
  • strong oral and written communication skills
  • proven ability to deliver superior operational performance
  • superior culinary skills with a proven track record as a chef and leader

Job Duties

  • Provides culinary leadership including assisting the CDC with culinary planning and execution for the restaurant
  • maintains a positive presence and serves as a role model of the Amada vision and standards
  • recruits, selects, trains, assigns, schedules, coaches, and counsels kitchen employees
  • communicates job expectations and manages employee performance
  • ensures superior culinary experience for all guests by implementing culinary standards and procedures
  • monitors and ensures compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • supports the restaurant's sales, marketing, and public relations efforts
  • represents the restaurant at culinary events and media
  • controls company assets including food, beverage, FFE, and cash
  • resolves operational challenges effectively
  • models integrity and accountability
  • prioritizes personal development
  • fosters positive relationships with employees, guests, and community
  • promotes teamwork and resolves conflicts
  • communicates consistently and constructively
  • performs duties assigned by CDC and GM
