Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education or experience
  • Supervisory experience
  • Certified in ServSafe or equivalent food handler certification
  • Degree in Culinary Arts, food service management, hospitality or equivalent preferred
  • Experience with directing entire food production staff
  • Experience in high volume food production
  • Experience working in a university or college food service environment

  • Degree in Culinary Arts, food service management, hospitality or equivalent preferred
  • Experience with food service management including directing a team of cooks and production staff
  • High volume food production experience
  • Experience working in a university or college food service setting

Job Duties

  • Supervise and direct food production staff including cooks and prep cooks
  • Oversee salad and dessert production operations
  • Manage high volume food production processes
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and certifications
  • Coordinate daily food service activities to meet university requirements
  • Maintain quality control and consistency of prepared foods
  • Support and train team members to enhance performance and customer satisfaction
