Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of culinary experience or equivalent culinary education
  • Experience in foodservice environment
  • Ability to supervise kitchen staff
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to manage cost controls and inventories
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient in computer and Microsoft Office applications
  • Must be willing to participate in client satisfaction activities

Job Qualifications

  • A.S. or equivalent culinary experience
  • Some progressive culinary and kitchen management experience
  • Catering experience preferred
  • Knowledge of high volume, complex foodservice operations
  • Experience with institutional and batch cooking
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, email, and Internet
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • Willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs

Job Duties

  • Assists the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and control expenditures for the account
  • Assists the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
  • Produces and execute catering events
  • Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with Company marketing and culinary team
  • Supervises hourly kitchen associates
  • Ensures food quality, production, sanitation, and presentation standards
  • Collaborates with Executive Chef on ordering and inventory
