Job Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial cooking or completion of a culinary apprenticeship or certification
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations including HACCP
- Ability to manage financial controls including food cost, stock levels, and waste reduction
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Service-oriented mindset with leadership capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Duties
- Execute and supervise food production activities including cleaning, cutting, marinating, seasoning, and cooking food items
- Oversee and coordinate the work of kitchen helpers and food cooks ensuring proper workflow and compliance with standards
- Assume responsibilities of the Executive Chef during absences including vacation, off-days, and menu presentations
- Supervise food storage practices ensuring tidiness and adherence to the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) principle
- Conduct and coordinate inventory checks and supervise stock control
- Monitor material consumption and place daily orders for food and equipment to meet production plans
- Participate in menu development and food product innovation for presentations
- Review and update catering manuals as necessary
- Implement corrective actions in response to customer complaints
- Support training and skill development of kitchen helpers and cooks
- Maintain and monitor hygiene, health, and safety standards ensuring compliance with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) regulations
- Conduct quality control checks on goods received and finished products
- Ensure strict adherence to recipe specifications and company standards
- Organize, staff, and direct the kitchen team within the area of responsibility
- Guide, motivate, and develop subordinate employees in line with company HR policies
- Promote company values and management principles within the department
- Implement and monitor cost control measures and initiate corrective actions for budget deviations
- Support company initiatives such as Global Quality Standard (GQS), HACCP, and Lean Manufacturing
