Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional kitchen experience
  • Experience managing a large kitchen team
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Willingness to work closely with management and team members
  • Passion for hospitality and culinary arts

Job Duties

  • Manage a team of 15 plus cooks and 2-3 management-level sous chefs
  • Oversee kitchen systems including inventory, prep lists, scheduling, and ordering
  • Bring creativity and new ideas to the menu and kitchen operations
  • Solve everyday problems with innovative solutions
  • Cook expertly with a strong understanding of flavors and techniques
  • Mentor junior staff and foster a culture of learning
  • Take ownership of financial aspects and the bottom line
  • Maintain professionalism, organization, punctuality, communication, and collaboration
