Job Requirements

  • College degree or certification in culinary or hospitality field preferred
  • minimum 2 years experience in a high-volume kitchen preferably hotel or resort setting
  • knowledge of culinary techniques and cuisines
  • strong leadership skills
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to manage inventory including ordering and receiving
  • ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef on daily planning, staffing, and operations
  • complete daily food requisitions and coordinate daily specials
  • assist in hiring, training, and coaching kitchen staff
  • participate in menu development and recipe creation
  • manage inventory including ordering and receiving products
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
  • ensure all dishes meet quality and presentation standards
