Job Requirements
- Active health card certification
- minimum 5 years experience in culinary food service
- minimum 2 years experience in supervisory role
- ability to perform prolonged standing and mobility
- capability to bend, reach, lift up to 50 lbs and transport items weighing up to 150 lbs
- ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in English
- proficiency in basic math
- ability to use computer for ordering
- ability to comply with policies, procedures and safety standards
- tolerance to kitchen conditions such as noise, temperature, and exposure to cleaning chemicals
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience in culinary food service
- minimum 2 years experience in a supervisory role

- proficiency in menu writing and costing
- knowledge of food ordering and inventory control
- ability to control food and wage costs
- strong teamwork and leadership skills
- effective verbal and written communication skills in English
Job Duties
- Prep and execute all menu items according to standards, station, restaurant or kitchen as directed by the Chefs
- supervise cooks, meal service, production and stewards in absence and assistance of the Chefs
- develop, mentor and motivate line cooks
- assist Chefs with scheduling, payroll, attendance documentation, inventories and discipline as needed
- assess and direct the required work in any kitchens
- write and cost menus
- order food items as directed by the Chefs
- control cost of sales and wage costs
- document menu changes, temperatures, meeting information
- attend meetings such as Chef meetings, B.E.O meetings, planning meetings
- work all stations in any kitchen independently without supervision
- follow and execute all recipes without supervision
- work in a clean, safe and organized manner
- maintain proper fire and ticket times
- assist with replacing daily requisitions and rotating and storing them
- restock dishes and silverware as required
- carry out reasonable requests by management within capabilities
