Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Specialized training equivalent to 2 years of college
  • 2-3 years experience in culinary arts preferred
  • 2-3 years supervisory experience in a similar situation preferred
  • Must understand and speak English
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to push and pull carts and equipment up to 250 pounds occasionally
  • Manual dexterity to operate necessary equipment
  • Capability to stand and walk frequently, with occasional sitting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
  • Specific vision abilities including close vision and distance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Specialized training equivalent to 2 years of college
  • 2-3 years experience in culinary arts preferred
  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience in a similar environment preferred
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Supervises food storage, preparation, production, and the Utility Staff to ensure safe, efficient, clean, and sanitary food handling in all Food and Beverage areas
  • Provides a high level of customer service and promotes a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining experience for guests and team members
  • Monitors all preparation and production procedures to ensure proper holding/heating temperatures, rotation, flavor, texture, and presentation of all food products
  • Monitors break schedules, waste log sheets, food time and temperature log books, and MSDS books
  • Conducts sanitation inspections to ensure compliance with safe-handling procedures
  • Expedites food orders, prepares, and produces food items as required
  • Holds pre-shift meetings to inform team members about work-related information
  • Establishes production levels for each shift based on guest levels
  • Schedules departmental staff for adequate coverage following union agreements and company guidelines
  • Assists in menu research and development
  • Maintains inventory of food products and supplies
  • Communicates with guests, colleagues, and management professionally and practices Red Carpet Service training
  • Leads by example and mentors fellow cooks
  • Complies with company and departmental policies
  • Performs other duties as assigned
